Wadham Players - amateur community theatre group
Based on the novel by Charles Dickens
David Copperfield is, at its core, about the exploration of couples and marriages, about the effects on adult life of childhood experience, and Dickens’s consideration of the model for the perfect woman. It is also a plea for kindness and tolerance, and a condemnation of the twin vices of over-indulgence and self-righteous cruelty.
